As you know, the Crowne Plaza Borjomi hotel has many conference halls, restaurants, and therefore it is very flexible for us to host such groups.
An important destination for Crowne Plaza Borjomi hotel is also the wellness and spa destination, which is one of the best in the region. Crowne Plaza Borjomi has a lot of relaxation cabins and has a lot of spa resources. Therefore, visiting Crowne Plaza Borjomi is important for foreign guests, both for spa treatment and relaxation.
In 2023, we had a large flow of guests from Kazakhstan, Central Asian countries, neighboring states, and also from Europe, whose hosting was very important for us. We had guests from Europe mainly from Switzerland, Germany, Poland. And as for 2024, the hotel is expecting much more guests during the high tourist season.
As the head of sales and marketing of Crowne Plaza Borjomi, Avto Tsurtsumia, said, reservations are already being accepted for the high season.
“Our high season starts from June and lasts until the end of September. You already have advance bookings for a series of tourist groups. You have active bookings from Germany, USA, Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan).
We are actively working on the Gulf countries, and from these countries mainly last minute bookings come in, because they make orders several weeks or months in advance”, Avto Tsurtsumia said.
According to the head of sales and marketing of Crowne Plaza Borjomi, the hotel shows a 7-8% increase in guests every year.
“The beginning of water for the regions is a very relevant period. Accordingly, at the end of December and the beginning of January, there was a very large flow of visitors, about 70% of which were local visitors.
We are actively preparing for the season. We already know that we will have a very active and busy season”, – says the head of sales and marketing of the hotel.
It should be noted that the Crowne Plaza Borjomi hotel is presented at the prestigious World Travel Awards, where the hotel will have to compete with its competitors in two nominations. As can be seen from the information published on the hotel’s Facebook page, Crowne Plaza Borjomi has been nominated in two nominations: Europe’s Leading Hotel & SPA 2024 and Georgia’s Leading Resort 2024.
