A new Pullman brand hotel and residences will be built in the Petra Sea Resort in Tsikhisdziri, Adjara, with the official groundbreaking ceremony recently held. First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Levan Davitashvili, along with the Chairman of the Adjara government, Tornike Rizhvadze, and representatives from Accor Group’s Pullman brand, attended the event.

“This project is part of our vision to develop high-quality tourism infrastructure in Georgia. The growth in tourism we expect by 2028 will be supported by such projects, which align with our plan to attract tourists with higher purchasing power,” said Davitashvili.

The five-star hotel and residences are expected to be fully operational by the end of 2028. The project will create over 500 jobs during construction and around 250 permanent jobs once completed.

With a budget of approximately $80 million, this development will significantly enhance Georgia’s tourism sector. “New hotel complexes and high-quality tourist infrastructure are key to further advancing tourism in Georgia,” added Davitashvili.

Additionally, the First Vice Prime Minister emphasized the importance of sustainable development for tourism projects. A planned transport project will restore sea passenger transport in Adjara, with the construction of a pier and yacht club near the hotel complex.
