Tbilisi International Airport Renews ISAGO Certification from IATA

Tbilisi International Airport

Tbilisi International Airport, operated by TAV Georgia, has once again successfully passed the audit conducted by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and has renewed its certification under the IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) program.

The ISAGO certificate affirms the airport’s compliance with global safety standards and high-quality ground handling operations.

Tbilisi International Airport had previously received ISAGO certification from IATA; however, the successful completion of the re-certification audit has now extended the validity of this important recognition.

TAV Georgia, which has been operating in Georgia for over two decades, manages both Tbilisi and Batumi international airports. The company maintains a strong focus on delivering high-quality services to passengers, with safety and operational excellence at the core of its mission.

The ISAGO certification serves as a crucial indicator of safety and service quality. It contributes positively to the airport’s international reputation and strengthens the confidence of existing and prospective airline partners operating at Georgia’s primary air transport hub.

The newly renewed certificate will be officially awarded to the TAV Georgia team by IATA in October 2025 and will remain valid for a period of two years.
