The Georgian National Tourism Administration’s project “Mziskari” has been selected as a finalist for the ECTN Awards 2026, a European competition recognizing outstanding initiatives in cultural tourism.
“Mziskari” has been shortlisted in the category “Creative Tourism and Co-Created Cultural Tourism Experiences”, making it one of the four finalists in the category.
A total of 72 applications from 23 European countries were submitted for the ECTN Awards 2026.
“Mziskari” will also compete for the Public Choice Award, giving the public an opportunity to support the Georgian project.
The winners of the ECTN Awards 2026 will be announced on September 24 in Skiathos, Greece, during the ECTN conference and awards ceremony.
The project’s selection as a finalist represents another international recognition for Georgia’s tourism sector and highlights the country’s growing focus on creative and cultural tourism.
