German airline Eurowings will begin operating direct flights between Tbilisi International Airport and Cologne starting July 2, the United Airports of Georgia announced.
The flights will be operated twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, using Airbus A320 aircraft.
“The German airline Eurowings will launch direct flights on the Cologne–Tbilisi–Cologne route starting July 2. The flights will be operated twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cologne is a completely new destination for Tbilisi International Airport and will contribute to the growth of tourism, as well as the expansion of business contacts with Germany,” the statement said.
