The Akhmeta Silk Festival will be held on September 19, 2026, in the village of Atsquri, Akhmeta Municipality, Kakheti, bringing together visitors interested in Georgia’s silk-making traditions, handicrafts, local culture and gastronomy.
The festival will take place at the former silk park drying building and will introduce visitors to the history and traditions of Georgian sericulture, as well as contemporary activities related to silk production.
The event will run from 11:00 to 17:00.
