Air Samarkand has officially commenced passenger operations to Georgia by transporting its first group of travelers from Tashkent to Tbilisi.
A total of 195 passengers arrived at Georgia’s primary gateway, Tbilisi International Airport, onboard an Airbus A321-NEO/CEO aircraft. To mark this milestone, a symbolic welcoming ceremony was organized at the airport by TAV Georgia, the operator of both Tbilisi and Batumi international airports.
Air Samarkand will operate scheduled flights on the Tashkent–Tbilisi–Tashkent route twice a week, every Thursday and Sunday.
Furthermore, starting from May 24, the airline will expand its operations to include the Tashkent–Batumi–Tashkent route, also with a frequency of two flights per week.
